  7.     27. PROPOSED RBBS-PC SYSOP CONFERENCE

  9.     As the modem community continues to evolve, RBBS-PC must change to meet the
  10.     needs of all users.   For years, RBBS-PC has survived with  file structures
  11.     that  are "adequate."    However, each  passing year  brings  new uses  for
  12.     RBBS-PC that place demands on the internal structure of the system.
  13.  
  14.     It is  time  to discuss  the  future of  RBBS-PC.   We  would like  to  see
  15.     RBBS-PC's future written in the same  spirit that RBBS-PC is developed,  by
  16.     involving the users.  If possible, a SysOp conference can coincide with the
  17.     internal  restructuring  of  RBBS-PC.   Topics  can  be  discussed such  as
  18.     RBBS-PC's support  of netmail, enhanced messaging features, and an enhanced
  19.     USER  record  structure.    This conference  cannot  succeed  without  your
  20.     support.  The timing, location, and agenda for such a meeting is left up to
  21.     the RBBS-PC community, but may we suggest a winter retreat in Florida?  Who
  22.     wouldn't mind spending a few days in the sun,  and discussing the future of
  23.     RBBS-PC at the same time?

  35.     conference.  If  you have gone  through the process  of booking hotels  and
  36.     meeting space,  or other things  I probably won't  think of, PLEASE  let me
  37.     know!
